Personal Well-Being For Employees

Self-Care Redefined

This workshop is designed to evaluate your current self-care practices and reflect on domains to be enhanced. Participants will develop skills to reduce their vulnerability to emotional stress and support themselves using self-compassion practices. 

More Than Sleep Hygiene

This workshop reviews the 3 systems that regulate sleep and introduces individuals to interventions and strategies to support falling asleep and staying asleep to improve rest and overall wellness. 

Active Participation

This workshop is designed to identify and reflect on individuals’ activity, participation, and engagement that contribute to their overall well-being.  This session will identify areas that make initiating difficult such as overwhelm or procrastination and identify areas to increase joy, achievement, and overall energy, motivation, and confidence.

Parenting and Life Stages For Agency Clients

Mental Health in Perimenopause and Menopause

Understanding the emotional and psychological symptoms of menopause. Overview of mood and anxiety symptoms, mapping the cycles of depression and anxiety and strategies to interrupt and begin reversing the cycle. Session reviews proactive approaches to maintaining wellness, treatment options, additional resources, and service navigation.

Emotion Regulation and Co-regulation

This session teaches skills and strategies to support managing distress, overwhelm, and emotional dysregulation. This session aims to help parents build co-regulation strategies with their children. It includes psychoeducation on the science of the brain and the nervous system. Evidence-based skills and tools will be used to support managing responses to intense emotions.

Managing Parenting Stress

This session supports developing an understanding of stress and chronic stress in the body. It reflects on the components that contribute to parenting stress and reviews skills to prevent parenting burnout, overwhelm, and increase self-compassion. It includes skills to manage distress and respond to intense emotions and recover from parenting difficulties. Additional evidence-based skills and tools will be used to support co-regulation with children. 

Birth Trauma and Impacts

Session defined and discussed birth trauma and its prevalence. Participants developed and understanding the emotional, psychological, and relational aspects of birth trauma. Overview of perinatal trauma, mood, and anxiety symptoms. Research presented on the impact of perinatal mood disorders on the parent-child dyad and attachment. Provided an overview of treatment options and outcomes.

Perinatal Mental Health

Psychoeducation on understanding the signs, symptoms, and treatment options for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Review differences in pregnancy and clinical symptoms. Discuss similarities and differences in adapting to parenting and symptom presentation in family roles and genders. Discuss wellness strategies and engage in planning activities for self-care in transition. Provided an overview of community resource navigation, and explored asking for help.
