My name is Amanda Logan, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Additionally, I maintain active memberships with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP) and the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT). I have recently completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University, in addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Carleton University. I have several years of experience volunteering and working in community mental health, fulfilling various roles across resource centers, educational institutions, organizations, and hospital settings.
As a neurodivergent mother and military spouse, I can understand the unique challenges and transitions that accompany parenthood, particularly in the perinatal and postpartum periods. Motherhood continues to offer new moments in my journey of self-discovery, each filled with valuable opportunities for growth, insights, and healing. I resonate deeply with the mental and emotional challenges that often arise while advocating for your own well-being and quality of life.
As a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), I am committed to cultivating supportive, safe, and inclusive therapeutic environments for all my clients. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they navigate the complexities of their personal journeys, offering empathetic understanding and guidance on how to thrive during this transformative time in their lives.
Together, we can explore effective strategies and tailored treatment options to promote holistic well-being and empower you on your path to healing and growth. In our sessions, I employ a variety of comprehensive, flexible, and integrative therapeutic approaches, ensuring they are relevant to individual client needs and serve their best interests.
